Jan Fischer, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, is convinced that
Karabakh issue should be settled in the frames of the OSCE Minsk Group.
"I am convinced and I state once again that Karabakh issue should be
settled in the frames of the OSCE Minsk Group," he said at a joint
press conference with the Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan in Yerevan
Monday. He noted that Armenia should demonstrate a very balanced
approach over the issue.
"Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be settled diplomatically, in
a well-thought-out way which will not lead to war so that none of
the sides suffers losses," Fischer highlighted. According to him,
Armenia has taken the right path.
In turn, T. Sargsyan said Armenia signifies the Czech Republic's
balanced position over Nagorno-Karabakh settlement.
"We signify that the Czech Republic also finds that the talks in the
frames of the OSCE Minsk Group are the only way to ensure the peaceful
settlement of the conflict," Tigran Sargsyan said.
