VIVACELL-MTS OFFICIAL STRATEGIC PARTNER AND RETAILER OF HTC PRODUCTS IN ARMENIA

ArmInfo. Armenia's leading mobile operator VivaCell-MTS and HTC, a
global designer and producer of smartphones, today announced the start
of sales of HTC Android-powered smartphones in VivaCell-MTS service
centers across Armenia, with an official 12-month guarantee. The
innovative smartphones are introduced to the Armenian market in the
frames of the Agreement on Cooperation signed on April 10th 2010
between HTC and VivaCell-MTS. According to the agreement VivaCell-MTS
is the official strategic partner and retailer of HTC products in
Armenia, including the Android-powered devices, VivaCell-MTS told
ArmInfo.
Today at a joint press conference held at VivaCell-MTS Headquarters
presided by VivaCell- MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian and Andrey
Kormiltsev, Country Manager, HTC Russia and CIS, the HTC smartphones
featuring the innovative Android platform, were presented.
"HTC, being a worldwide leader in the market of Android-based devices,
we chose Armenia's leading mobile operator VivaCell-MTS as the official
strategic partner and retailer of our products in Armenia. To support
the launch HTC provided training for VivaCell-MTS service center
staff. We are also jointly launching a number of marketing activities
to support the devices," pointed out Andrey Kormiltsev.
"HTC aims at making people's lives easier through mobility with
convenience of talking to friends and relatives, reading books, and
accessing the Internet on one device. Android-based smartphones with
personalized user interface will deliver to Armenian users more than
