THE HEALTH CONDITION OF 23 PEOPLE TAKEN TO VANADZOR INFECTION HOSPITAL WITH FOOD POISONING IS STABLE

YEREVAN, MAY 18, ARMENPRESS: The health condition of 23 people taken
to Vanadzor infection hospital May 15-16 with food poisoning is
stable. No one of them has been discharged today. Director of the
hospital Robert Chilingaryan told Armenpress that the condition of
patients is assessed as stable but for complete curing they must be
under control of doctors for few days.
According to initial information, the main cause of poisoning is
"eclair" cakes: all the hospitalized people said that they ate that
kind of cake.
Head of the Healthcare Ministry's state hygienic epidemic inspection
and food security department Margarita Babayan noted that laboratory
examination is being conducted the results of which will be publicized.
