Ali Ahmadov International organizations should ensure observation of
international law.
'Attempts by the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh region to
achieve formal recognition of the international community by holding
the so-called 'parliamentary election' have failed again.
Many international organizations, including the OSCE Minsk Group have
indicated that they do not recognize the 'elections' or consider them
legitimate', said executive secretary of the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan
Party Ali Ahmadov.
According to him, the reaction of international organizations to the
"elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh has once again demonstrated that
the international community does not recognize the separatist regime
of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The MP called on his colleagues and the Azerbaijani government to
intensify its activities towards attracting international attention
to the Karabakh problem and send new appeal to the world communication
in regard to the unresolved Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
'The international law does not work. It should work, and it must be
ensured by international organizations', said Ali Ahmadov.
