"Aliyev's statements to Ukrainian paper concerning the conflict
of Nagorno-Karabakh are general attempts to cynically mislead the
international community and for 100% forge the reality. For those who
have fallen under Aliyev's frauds impression, it's a must to underscore
that Armenia adopted the role of peace guarantor of NK people, which
is being threatened day by day by Azerbaijan," NA Deputy, member of
Republican faction Artak Zaqaryan told Panorama.am.
According to him, the international community, whom Aliyev is intended
to deceive should know that the historical and present facts of
Karabakh have nothing in common with the lessons that Aliyev taught.
"To make sure, one shouldn't listen to Aliyev, but should visit
the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. As for the political will of the
Armenian side over the resolution of the conflict, it's well aware for
all the interested parties. Armenia is ready to advance the resolution
of the conflict based on the international norms," NA Deputy said.
"We would say it's Aliyev who delays the conflict resolution based on
the recommendations of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. It's Azerbaijan
who ignores UN Assembly resolutions violating the ceasefire regime
every day."
