United States will not play Armenian Genocide "card" to force Turkey
to deploy US anti-missile defense elements on its territory, according
to Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu.
"Nothing of the kind is possible. A country which is our friend and
ally never did and will use the issue as a card against us," Turkish
top diplomat said.
Earlier Turkish Hurriyet Daily News reported that the United States
has through its diplomatic sources sent a message to Turkey, saying
that the Congress will adopt the Resolution of Armenian Genocide,
should Turkey refuse to deploy US anti-missile system on its territory.
