YEREVAN'S VSTRECH BRIDGE READY NOW

The reconstruction of the bridge on Garegin Nzhdeh Avenue is over;
the bridge is thoroughly repaired, Yerevan Municipality's press
service told Tert.am.
The opening ceremony is scheduled in a couple of days' time.
The repair works began in fall 2009, but some time later they were
discontinued, as it turned out that the bridge needed reconstruction.
The reconstruction resumed in March 2010, and the Yerevan Municipality
promised that the bridge will open early in November.
The load-carrying capacity of the reconstructed bridge will be 70
tons now instead of 30 tons.
