Chairman of European Integration NGO Karen Bekaryan said that adoption
of a serious document on the Karabakh conflict settlement is unlikely
in Astana.
"Today, there is a statement of the Presidents of the OSCE Minsk
Group's Co-Chair countries made on July 10, 2009, in L'Aquila. The
document reads that the Karabakh conflict should be settled based on
three principles," Bekaryan told a press conference, commenting on
expectations from the upcoming OSCE summit in Astana.
The expert believes that only a document once again confirming the
OSCE Minsk Group's commitment to the conflict resolution based on
three principles will be signed in Astana, while Azerbaijan will
silently agree to sign this document.
