'KARABAKH CONFLICT IMPOSSIBLE TO SETTLE'

Alexei Malashenko I think Karabakh conflict is eternal conflict, said
member of scientific board of Moscow Center of Karnegie, political
scientist Alexei Malashenko.
'I think the Karabakh conflict is among eternal conflicts. This is
rather a process. It is impossible to settle it to meet all parties
including Nagorno Karabakh in the nearest future. Movement towards
solution is important here and it must be based on mutual concessions.
But now as we see mutual concessions are made and then taken away',
Malashenko said.
He noted that the Karabakh conflict will naturally be discussed
in Astana: there will be much noise but nothing significant should
be expected.
'The matter is that the talks about the resolution of the conflict
have been heard long before but still no changed', Malashenko said.
