Parliamentarian: Artsakh will never be part of Azerbaijan

At the Astana summit of OSCE Ilham Aliyev will once again accept that
the Nagorno Karabakh conflict should be resolved peacefully, yet later
he will again try to reject peaceful settlement, member of RPA
parliamentary faction Gagik Melikyan told a news conference in
Yerevan.
`He will again accept all norms of the international law to be a basis
for the Nagorno Karabakh settlement - self-determination of peoples,
non-use of force and territorial integrity. However, the principle of
territorial integrity does not relate to the settlement of the Nagorno
Karabakh conflict. Nagorno Karabakh has never been part of independent
Azerbaijan and will never be part of it. Azerbaijani President Ilham
Aliyev will never see Nagorno Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan.'
As to cases of violation of ceasefire regime or provocations by
Azerbaijan, the parliamentarian said they have considerably decreased
after Azerbaijani parliamentary elections.
