Azerbaijani political analysts have never exerted efforts to bring
their thoughts in compliance with logic.
As anticipated, on the threshold of the OSCE summit in Astana,
Baku again started speaking the language of threats and ultimatums,
making statements about "unconquerable" Azerbaijani army, which will
reach Yerevan, and using the superiority of its military budget.
According to Mubariz Ahmedoglu, a main mouthpiece of Aliyev's
propaganda, Azerbaijan is entirely ready for a war.
"Our army is much stronger than the Armenian one, irrespective of its
state, and our single enemy is Armenia. The OSCE summit in Astana
will be a critical point, barrier, after which a new field for an
Azerbaijani maneuver will open. Azerbaijan's choice depends on a
decision of the OSCE summit in Astana. However, the recent steps of
Yerevan suggest that Armenia chooses a war, it means that Azerbaijan
will wage a final and victorious war," said Ahmedoglu. In other words,
if Armenia is labeled as an aggressor and occupant in Astana, it will
accept it and yield its lands to Baku no one knows for what.
The political analyst went on telling tales about poverty-stricken
Armenia, which needs only a war to survive. Moreover, he resorts to
insults without hesitation and further ado. For example, he stated
that military maneuvers are held... to feed soldiers. One could not
think of greater absurdity. However, Azerbaijani political analysts
have never exerted efforts to bring their thoughts in compliance with
logic, what has resulted in permanent aggravation of the situation
and hysteria, as well as a new generation, which is ready to fight
for petrodollars of Aliyevs' clan.
"It is true that none of Armenian leaders will be able to
substantiate for the Armenian history the return of territories
occupied in a military way, thus, Armenia has no other way, but
for war with Azerbaijan. Armenians are deprived of high culture
and logic to conceive the necessity of living in compliance with
civil and international laws excluding aggression and occupation of
another's land. Due to this very logic, being defeated in a new war,
the Armenian society will calm down and accept the new reality,"
the political analyst said.
Thus, according to the logic of Ahmedoglu, Azerbaijan, which lost the
first war in Karabakh, has not accepted the new reality and aspires
towards revenge. And the most important thing is that all that is
voiced in Baku reflects the real situation in Azerbaijan, which has
done nothing to improve the living conditions of people in flooded
regions, who have neither shelters nor means of subsistence. However,
Aliyev does not care for it - he needs only intensification of
hysteria prior to Astana and the world community's carte blanche,
which will nobody give to it. And various statements made by court
political analysts are dictated by it. However, as there are not other
political analysts in Baku, one can say that they gain their bread
by anti-Armenian propaganda, what is an easy thing, as one does not
need to feel cold in trenches or run under fire.
