On November 22, Armenian Defence Ministry's inspection group left
for Turkey to hold an inspection within the framework of the Treaty
on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (TCAFE).
"TCAFE attaches a great importance to transparency which is why the
inspection is held. Armenian officers visit Turkey, similarly to our
servicemen who visit Armenia to hold inspections. This is an ordinary
inspection held among the OSCE member-states", the Turkish Foreign
Ministry's statement says.
The Armenian inspection group aims to inspect the observation of
quantity restrictions on arms and military technique in a military
unit of Bayazet city, news.az reported.
