YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS: The youth organization of the
Armenian Republican Party organized today a visit to Yerablur. Over
100 students and young people, who were wearing T-shirts with pictures
of Armenian national heroes, paid their tribute to the memory of the
Armenian heroes.
Karen Avagyan, head of the ARP youth organization, said today at a
briefing that it is not the first time the ARP youth organization
visits Yerablur. He said the visit was unique as it was dedicated to
the 20th anniversary of the ARP.
'First of all the program is informative, and its main goal is to
educate and plant seeds of military-patriotic spirit. Such events
are very important, especially when they are organized by the young,'
Karen Avagyan said.
The participants received guides, which were published within the
framework of the program. The guides summarize the biographies of
the heroes of the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh.
According to Edgar Hovhannisyan, chairman of ARP youth organization's
propaganda- ideological committee, author of the book, this is the
first time that a comprehensive guide of biographies of 15 national
heroes of the RA and 20 Artsakh war heroes of NKR is published.
After the visit to Yerablur, the participants visited the
Tsitsernakaberd (Swallow's Fortress) memorial, Pantheon of the
Komitas Park, as well as Echmiadzin. They will visit November 24
Sasunik community, Talin and Byurakan towns of Aragatsotn Marz.
