SIMULTANEOUS CHEESE PRICE GROWTH MAKE US REMEMBER THE PRICE COMMITTEE OF SOVIET TIMES

Arminfo. The simultaneous cheese price growth make us think about
fixing of reasonable prices for goods, chairman of the Union of Local
Good Producers of Armenia, Vazgen Safaryan, told journalists today.
He also added that in some cases the situation dictates the necessity
of maximal price fixing for goods, for instance, the retail sale
of cheese. 'Is it possible that 77 cheese producers in our country
raise cheese price irrespective of each other? The State Committee for
Protection of Economic Competition controls competition at the goods
markets. But when we see the results of its activity, nilly-willy we
think about the necessity of establishing the price committee similar
to the Soviet one', - Safaryan said.
