Number of juvenile crimes has decreased

`The number of juvenile crimes has decreased in the past 10 months as
compared to the same period of 2009,' Head of the Department of the
Criminal Investigation of the RA Police Nelli Duryan told a press
conference today.
`411 cases were registered in the first 10 months of 2009, while the
number totals 390 this year. Instead the number of suicide attempts by
juveniles has increased. Thirteen cases resulted in death, which is 15
more than last year,' she said.
According to Nelli Duryan, 140 cases of violence against minors and
five cases of kidnapping were registered during the past 10 months.
