ARMEN GHULARYAN: "OUTGOING SESSIONS OF RA GOVERNMENT ENABLE TO GET CLOSELY ACQUAINTED WITH ISSUES OF PROVINCES"

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS: The practice of the outgoing
sessions of the Armenian government greatly contributes to
productivity of the activity of the latter and to ensuring of
publicity, Governor Armen Ghularyan said today in the outgoing session
of the Armenian government held today in Tavush province. According to
him, outgoing sessions afford an opportunity to get closely acquainted
with issues of provinces and to undertake timely measures for their
solution.
"Such a working style is a necessity for balanced development of a
cross-border province," Mr. Ghularyan said. According to him, the
province has agricultural inclination, among the most important and
prospective branches of which are cattle breeding, fruit-growing,
tobacco production. Mining industry, procession and tourism are among
the better developed spheres.
Three thousand 823 plants of fruitful trees have been provided in
spring by "Hayastan" all-Armenian fund. Garden of 4.5 hectares has
been laid out with the support of the Armenian government within a
program on creation of organic yards by "Tamara Fruit".
Mr. Ghularyan said that numerous programs are being implemented to
develop tourism. Hagartsin monastic complex is being repaired for that
very purpose. There are 4 medical centers in the province, one urban
primary healthcare center, 7 new rural healthcare centers. Ijevan
medical center, ensured with up-to-date medical equipments, was handed
to exploitation in April 2010.
The capital repair of the building of Noyemberyan medical center will
soon be brought to an end through the funding of Hayastan All-Armenian
Foundation. The personnel of the primary healthcare sphere of the
province have passed trainings. Seventy-one family doctors work in
Tavush. In 2010 the updating of the cadre potential of the healthcare
sphere of the province is still going on. Considerable works have been
carried out in the direction of road construction as well.
Mr. Ghularyan expressed hope that uniting all the efforts, Tavush
governor office will manage to provide even better achievements.
