6.8MLN LITERS OF BRANDY PRODUCED IN ARMENIA IN JANUARY-AUGUST

6.8mln liters of brandy were produced in Armenia in January-August,
which is 36.6% more as compared with the same period in 2009.
According to the RA National Statistical Service, 5.9mln liters of
vodka were produced during the reporting period that is 19.8% lower
compared to January-August 2009.
Besides, 2.7mln liters of wine were produced in January-August 2010
against 2.1mln liters during the same period in 2009
In addition, 11.6mln liters of beer and 146.2thousl liters of sparkling
wine were produced in January-August 2010 that is 49.7% and 28.9%
more as compared with the same period in 2009.
1.9% drop was recorded in soft drinks production, reaching 22.9mln
liters during the reporting period.
