Even Armenian MPS visited Van secretly: Van Times

The chief editor of the Van Times daily Aziz Aykac considers his
newspaper the only one in the world that is published in 5 languages,
he said in an interview with Zaman.
Aziz Aykac, who has 38 years' experience in journalism, noted that the
Van Times was published in Turkish, Kurdish, Farsi, English plus
Armenian during the liturgy in Surb Khach. `Thousands of Armenians
arrived in Van for religious service and we decided to publish the
newspaper in Armenian too. Van residents also hosted Armenian guests
in their homes. However, the Armenian Diaspora raised the issue on
installing cross and the number of guests has reduced. Overall 40
families hosted Armenians in Van,' Aykac stressed.
The Van Times editor also said that there are many Armenians in Van
but they are silent about it. Many Armenians of Diaspora visit Van
secretly. Even Armenian MPs paid a secret visit to Van,' he concluded.
