EU concerned about frequent incidents in Karabakhi-Azerbaijani contact line
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received Peter Semneby, EU Special
Representative for the South Caucasus on Friday. According to the
presidential press service, President Sargsyan and Peter Semneby
discussed a wide range of issues on the EU-Armenia relations.
In the context of development of the EU-Armenia cooperation, the sides
bilaterally underscored the necessity of ensuring normal process of
negotiations over the Association Agreement. The interlocutors
expressed satisfaction over the activities of the EU working group of
advisers and hailed the extension of the activities.
During the meeting the two sides exchanged thoughts on a number of
regional issues, as well as on the current stage of talks over
regulation of the NK issue. Mr. Semneby said the EU is concerned about
the frequent incidents in the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani line of contact.
