Azerbaijani Armenian refugees are indignant at the fact that
international structures consign to oblivion their problems despite the
numerous letters sent out to different organizations. They assess the
fact that international structures periodically address the problems
of Azerbaijani refugees, ignoring the problems Armenian refugees as
negligence of international law and a demonstration of discrimination.
>From now on the Assembly of Azerbaijani Armenians will be consistent
in raising the issues of refuges.
Ethnographer Hranush Kharatian, who has long been addressing
the problems of Azerbaijani Armenians, notes that international
organizations periodically violate the international law by ignoring
the letters of Armenian refugees, although they are called to protect
that very international law.
It's strange to Hranush Kharatyan that the same OSCE, which is carrying
out a field assessment mission on the territories surrounding Nagorno
Karabakh, has not found means to address the numerous requests and
letters of Azerbaijani Armenian refugees. According to her, such
approach of international structures is a provocation, since they
make Armenians take harsh steps.
According to the Chairman of the Assembly of Azerbaijani Armenians
Grigory Ayvazyan, they have addressed a number of letters to
international organizations, including the OSCE Minsk Group, urging
them to take into consideration the rights of Azerbaijani Armenians.
Grygory Ayvazyan anticipates the support of the Armenian authorities,
since in Azerbaijan the problems of refugees are raised immediately
by the government.
