PRESIDENT SARGSYAN MEETS MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS

President Serzh Sargsyan met with the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group
Bernard Fassier (France), Robert Bradtke (USA), Igor Popov (Russia)
and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej
Kasprzyk who arrived to Yerevan in the framework of a regional visit.
The Co-Chairs discussed with the President of Armenia the program of
the field assessment mission in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone
and presented the results of their discussions held in Baku.
The Co-Chairs reiterated that the next stage of assessment would
include monitoring of the situation on the territories of Nagorno
Karabakh under Azerbaijani control. They also stressed that they would
use first opportunity to visit the totally demolished Juga cemetery
in Nachijevan, where thousands of Armenian monuments, including unique
medieval cross-stones, were destroyed.
President Sargsyan stressed that it is important that the OSCE field
mission at the conclusion of its works presents unbiased report.
