HIGH LEVEL POLITICAL DIALOGUE ESTABLISHED BETWEEN ARMENIA AND LITHUANIA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandyan received today vice-speaker of the Lithuanian Seim
(parliament), chairman of the Armenian-Lithuanian inter-parliamentary
friendship group Algis Kasheta.
Press and Information Department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told
Armenpress that welcoming the guest Minister Nalbandyan stressed the
high level of political dialogue and efficient cooperation between
Armenia and Lithuania at international organizations. The parties
mentioned the necessity of intensifying trade and economic cooperation.
The interlocutors addressed steps towards development of parliamentary
cooperation between Armenia and Lithuania, cooperation between the two
delegations at parliamentary assemblies of international organizations.
Minister Nalbandyan and Vice-Speaker Kasheta touched upon bilateral,
regional and international issues, Armenia-European Union cooperation.
They exchanged thoughts over security issues in the South Caucasus,
current problems and ways of their resolution.
