ARMENIAN BOXERS TO FIGHT FOR FIRST PLACES

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS: Armenian national boxing team headed
by chief coach Rafael Mehrabyan departed today for the Ukrainian town
of Kharkov to participate in the European Cup October 21-24. Five
Armenian boxers will perform at Kharkov's ring - Hovhannes Danielyan
(48kg), Derenik Gizhlaryan (51kg), Volodya Hayrapetyan (64 kg),
Andranik Hakobyan (75kg) and Arthur Khachatryan (81 kg).
Rafael Mehrabyan told Armenpress that all the Armenian boxers will
fight for occupying the first places. "The joint training gathering
with the Morocco team was quite useful before this tournament. All
the members of our team are winners and prize bearers of international
tournaments," he said.
