DEFENSE MINISTRIES OF ARMENIA AND UKRAINE SIGN 2011 COOPERATION PLAN

On the eve of the sitting of the Council of Defense Ministers of CIS
countries in Crimea Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan had a
number of bilateral meetings with the defense ministers of the CIS
countries during which issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Public Relations department of the Armenian Defense Ministry told
Armenpress that the Defense Ministers of Armenia and Ukraine Seyran
Ohanyan and Mikhail Ezhel talked about the relations between the
defense agencies of the two countries and the ways of their expansion
and intensification.
At the end of the meeting the 2011 cooperation plan between the
Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and Ukraine was
signed. The most important activities of the plan include strategic
and operative planning consultations and cooperation in the spheres
of engineering and military education.
