"ARARAT" TV CHANNEL PARTICIPATES IN "GOLDEN PRAGUE" FILM FESTIVAL

Czech "Golden Prague" 47th international cultural TV film festival
was held between October 16 and 20 in Prague, organized by Czech CT
public TV.
Armenia for the first time participated in the festival, represented by
the "Ararat" Armenian cultural TV Channel. The festival is sponsored by
Czech-Armenian businessman Gevorg Avetisyan, MFA press office reported.
On the day of festival opening, October 16, Ambassador of Armenia
Ashot Hovakimyan in his interview to CT TV Channel said that Armenian
"Ararat" TV Channel's participation in the festival will give the Czech
TV audience an opportunity to get acquainted with the Armenian culture.
On October 17, as part of the festival, "Ararat" presented a film
about its TV programs. The film features Armenian culture with its
different genres. The event was attended by festival administration,
representatives of Czech TV channels, countries participating in the
festival, Armenian community, cultural figures.
