ARMENIA CAN BECOME BRIDGE CONNECTING IRAN WITH CIS STATES

On October 26, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran.
Premier Sargsyan noted that official visit will give an impetus to
intensification of Armenian-Iranian economic relations as compared
with highest level of political relations, RA governmental press
service informed NEWS.am.
The Armenian Premier and Iranian President discussed economic projects
both sides are interested in.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed that Iran is ready to develop all the
initiatives.
The Armenian Premier also confirmed President Sargsyan's invitation
to visit Armenia.
The sides pointed out running of joint enterprises, adding that Armenia
can become a bridge to expand ties between Iran and the CIS states.
Tigran Sargsyan highly appreciated his meeting with Iranian Vice
President Mohammad Reza Rahimi, noting that the sides can reach
agreement in all fields of cooperation. In his turn Ahmadinejad
stated that expansion of bilateral relations at the governmental
level will contribute to development of cooperation and friendship
between the states.
