"The negotiation process on teh Karabakhc onflict settlement is
important event if it produces no serious reults, because it shows
that the parties are trying to solve the issue in a civilized way,"
Republican MP Hamlet Harutyunyan told a press conference today.
"There is no step forward, but there is no step backward either,"
Hamlet Harutyunyan said, commenting on the outcome of the Astrakhan
meeting between the Presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.
Accoridng to him, teh meeting further delayed the possibility of
resumption of war. "The neutralization of the threat of war is a
priority issue for both Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said.
Hamlet Harutyunyan considers that some document will be signed at
the OSCE summit in Astana.
