Dominic Barton: Armenia should develop IT sphere not to be extruded
from consumer markets

At National Competitiveness Foundations conference in Yerevan, Global
Managing Director of McKinsey & Company, Dominic Barton delivered a
lecture on five forces influencing formation of global economy.
The head of McKinsey&Company expressed his position on the issue,
specifically noting the most profitable investment sectors, including
agriculture, food manufacturing, healthcare, clear technologies,
education.
The expert forecasted favorable future to countries rich in natural
resources, urging them to practice reasonable management.
Commenting on the situation in Armenia, the expert observed that the
country should shift accents in the economy, developing the sphere of
innovation technologies not to be extruded from consumer markets.
