President of the republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan issued a
congratulatory message on the occasion of the Knowledge Day. The
message reads:
"Dear schoolchildren, teachers and parents,
I congratulate you on Knowledge Day.
Every state and nation seeks to get stronger. In case of Armenia,
saying strength we understand knowledge. When we say the man is our
greatest wealth, we mean the modern, educated, diligent and patriotic
man, who promotes the economy, science culture and army of the country,
as well as the most important spheres of public life. This is our true
wealth, and our school is called to educate this kind of individuals.
Some countries extract their wealth from mines, while our goldmine
is the school and the public atmosphere, where the citizen of the
future is being shaped.
I whish this academic year to be fruitful and to bring new achievements
to Armenian schoolchildren and students, teachers and lecturers.
I congratulate everyone on Knowledge Day."
