At least 7 servicemen from the Azerbaijani armed forces have been
killed and wounded during Tuesday's diversion attack by the Azeri
forces on the military posts under the Karabakhi defense army control,
Spokesperson for the Defense Ministry of the Republic of Nagorno
Karabakh Senor Hasratyan told Tert.am.
"Suffering losses the enemy was thrown back. The names of the two
killed [soldiers] have already been published; the third has died too,"
said he, adding that the reports by the Azerbaijani mass media as if
it is the Armenian side that made the attacks if simply false.
Azerbaijani armed forces made an attempted diversion attack on
military posts of Karabakh's defense army at 6:30 am on August 31
in the vicinities of Chailu village in the north-eastern region of
Nagorno Karabakh. Only one Armenian serviceman was wounded. Rudik
Manasyan's health condition is considered as stable now.
"The situation along the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani front line is under
control," added Mr Hasratyan.
