CRIMINAL CASE ON THE FACT OF DEATH OF SERVICEMAN ARTAK NAZARYAN HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY INVESTIGATIONDEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL CASES

Arminfo. The criminal case on the fact of death of serviceman Artak
Nazaryan has been transferred to further investigation by Investigation
Department of Special Cases on 4 September, the department told
Arminfo correspondent.
As it was informed earlier, Nazaryan's four comrades-in arms were
arrested within the frames of the criminal case - captain Hakop
Manukyan, soldiers Adibek Hovannisyan, Arutik Kirakosyan and Mkhitar
Mkhitaryan. They were nailed on charge by different clauses of Armenian
Criminal Code.
Lieutenant Nazaryan died on 27 July 2010. According to the official
version, he committed suicide, but his relatives did not agree to
such version and think he was killed. Nazaryan's mother addressed an
open letter to Armenian defence minister with a demand to reveal and
punish the guilty persons.
