Former IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO's) plans
on fighting smart in his next Super six tournament fight against Carl
Froch (26-1, 20 KO's) on October 2 at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille,
Principaute de Monaco, Monaco.
Abraham, speaking to Fightnews.com, said, "I simply must box more
cleverly. Now it's the time to defeat Carl Froch."
"I'm not one who talks big, but I know what's at stake," he stated.
"It's about everything. It's my dream to win the Super Six tournament.
This is my drive, my motivation, my life. And that's exactly why I
will defeat Carl Froch!"
Regarding Froch, Abraham stated, "He has very long, very good left
jab and a strong right uppercut. He is a fighter and a puncher,
just like me."
About his Super Six fight with Andre Dirrell he commented, "It's an
awful feeling to lose. I never want to feel this feeling again. We've
analyzed the fight and have learned from the defeat. I simply must
box more cleverly. Now it's the time to defeat Carl Froch!"
