NATO HIGHLY APPRECIATES COOPERATION WITH ARMENIA

September 14, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received
Robert Simmons, NATO's Special Representative for the Caucasus and
Central Asia, who has arrived in Armenia within the framework of the
Armenia-2010 exercises, RA Foreign Ministry press service informed
NEWS.am.
Nalbandian stressed Armenia attaches importance to the cooperation
with NATO and places special emphasis on NATO Individual Partnership
Action Plan. According to him, Armenia continues cooperation within
Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) and peacekeeping missions.
In his turn, Simmons made a point of the expansion of bilateral
relations and stressed NATO highly appreciates cooperation with
Armenia. He expressed hope the EAPC will give a good opportunity for
further cooperation.
The officials also exchanged views on the Armenia-2010 military
exercises.
