The ratification process to set diplomatic ties between Armenia and
Turkey is failed; editor-in-chief of "Agos" daily Robert Kobtash
told Armenian journalists who arrived in Turkey, Panorama.am reporter
    tells from Istanbul.

"Communication via closed borders is impossible, open borders were
important for us and in this respect we hailed the protocols," Robert
    Kobtash said.

To our question what side should be blamed for withdrawing the process,
    Kobtash said: "Turkish state is."

According to him, Turkish Government faces deeper challenges now -
forthcoming elections and pressures of the nationalists.
