"A rapturous reception" of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko
by the Leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan during
the CSTO Summit in Armenia in August, provoked wide discontent in
the Russia's political elite.
According to the biweekly, the Armenian oligarch was sternly warned by
his Moscow "curator", if the invitation is repeated, the consequences
will be unpleasant. "The last warning made Tsarukyan and his political
colleagues panic-stricken, who hope for Moscow's support in gaining
more seats in the impending parliamentary elections," the source reads.
