Iranian Christians condemn insult to Holy Quran
Tehran, Sept 13, IRNA - Christians in the central Iranian province of
Isfahan and in southern Iran in a statement on Monday condemned the
insult to the Holy Quran.
The statement which is signed by Bishop of Isfahan and southern Iran
Papken Charian has condemned the blasphemous action taken by some
so-called Christians to tear up copies of Quran.
The statement has also referred to the US pastor Terry Jones' vow to
burn copies of Quran on September 11 which provoked the global
outrage.
These are years that the civilian world has been trying to solve the
religious conflicts through dialogue and the peaceful ways, the
statement has pointed.
