Dedication of the Armenian Cultural Garden: Photo Gallery

    Peggy Turbett, The Plain Dealer

The Armenian Cultural Garden, with its sculpture of learning blocks
inscribed with the Armenian alphabet, joins the string of
international cultural parks along Martin Luther King Drive Sunday,
Sept. 19, 2010, in Cleveland, Ohio. About 300 people attended the
dedication, part of One World Day celebrations in The Cleveland
Cultural Gardens. (Photographs by Peggy Turbett/ The Plain Dealer).

Photo: Soma Baghdasaryan, left, directs the children's group in
rehearsal before the dedication of the Armenian Cultural Garden,
Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. Children are (Left to
right) Edgar Tovmasyan, Andreh Avitsian, Hayk Klekchyan, Hasmic
Tovmasyan, and Taleen Avitsian. The Armenian Garden sculpture behind
the children replicates a series of learning blocks inscribed with the
Armenian alphabet. (Peggy Turbett/ The Plain Dealer)
