The 39th World Chess Olympics are kicking off in the Russian town of
Khanti Mansijsk on September 21.
The Armenian team, which is a double champion and currently holds the
title of the world champion, will have the following players: Levon
Aronyan, Vladimir Hacobyan, Gabriel Sargsyan, Arman Pashikyan, Avetik
Grigoryan (coached by Arshak Petrosyan).
According to Armchess.am, in the Armenian women's team are the
following players: Elina Danielyan, Lilit Hakobyan, Nelly Aghinyan,
and Anahit Kharatyan (coached by Ashot Anastasyan).
The Armenian players will represent the national teams of other
countries. Namely:
Sergey Movsisyan - Slovakia
Grigor-Sevak Mkhitaryan - Brazil
Michael Hakobov - Finland
Tatev Abrahamyan - US
Merry Grigoryan - England
Dina and Dalia Kagramanovas - Canada
