No tours to Egypt from Armenia

The information that Armenian tour operators resume sale of tour
packages to Egypt on April 2, is not true, representatives of a number
of travel agencies informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Armenian tourists are forced to restrain their burning desire to
travel to Egypt, as charter flights to the country are yet
unavailable.
Many countries have announced travel warning for Egypt due to the
country's unprecedented unrest in January 2011.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, a wave of unrest swept into
Egypt since January. The situation got strained after fights broke out
between supporters and opponents of Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak. A
furious wave of protest swept Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak from
power on Friday after 30 years of one-man rule. Over 300 people were
killed, 5.000 injured in unprecedented countrywide protests in the
country.
