7TH YEREVAN BOOK FAIR ON APRIL 21-23

YEREVAN, APRIL 20, ARMENPRESS: The Khnko Aper National Junior Library
in association with the National Association of Publishers of Armenia
will conduct April 21-23 the 7th International Book Fair of Yerevan
within the framework of the World Book and Copyright Day.
According to Ruzanna Tonoyan, director of the library, "this time the
fair is really international", as the national publishing houses of
Lebanon and the embassy of Iran will partake as well. Presentations
of books, published recently, as well as various events for children
will be organized within the framework of the fair. More than 50
publishers of Armenia will present over 2000 books. Ruzanna Tonoyan
says this is another step to propagandize the books.
The recent book fair of Yerevan had 7000-8000 visitors. This year
the fair will open officially April 21 at the Khnko Aper National
Junior Library.
