ARMENIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION OF GEORGIA CALLS GEORGIAN STUDENTS TO COME WITH OFFICIAL STATEMENTS CONDEMNING FACT OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

YEREVAN, APRIL 20, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Student Association of Georgia
called Georgian student organizations including student councils of
institutions of higher education, in the name of commitment to justice
and democratic valuables, to join the initiatives of the civilized
world community and to come with official statements condemning fact of
the Armenian Genocide, the press service of the Association reported.
Armenian Student Association of Georgia also asked students and
student organizations to join the event of 96th anniversary of the
Armenian genocide organized by the Armenian Community of Georgia
in 2011. On April 24 at 2 p.m. at the Turkish Embassy in Georgia a
peaceful manifestation will be held with demand of recognition of
the Armenian genocide. "Armenian Student Association of Georgia hopes
Georgian students and student organizations will express solidarity
and participate in the above mentioned initiative", they said in
the statement.
