Armenian singer wins Audience Sympathy award in Jurmala

Competition Novaya Volna (New Wave), has won the Audience Sympathy
award.
Merited Russian pop singers and musicians, Igor Krutoy, Igor Nikolaev
and Valery Meladze handed the prize to the young singer.
Jaden Felder from the United States became the winner of the tenth
jubilee contest, held annually in Jurmala, Latvia.
The second and third prizes were awarded to Mash Sobko from Ukraine,
and the Russian pop group N.A.O.M.I., respectively.
This year's contest had brought together 16 singers from 14 world countries. |
The participants competed for three nominations - Country Hit, World
Hit, and Original Song.
The winner of the 2010 Jurmala contest was Armenian singer Sona Shahgeldyan.
