The Armenian art critics and other intellectuals that attended
the Nature and Worship festival, held by the Armenia-based Maratuk
company in Dersim province, Turkey, July 27 to 31, video recorded the
stories of numerous Armenians forcibly converted to Islam, Haykagun
Alvrtsyan, Head of the Western Armenia and Armenians Study Center,
told journalists on Aug 8.
"In one of the villages we were told [a] man's eventful story -
a story of consistent struggle for existence and incognito life,"
Alvrtsyan said.
