LATVIAN COMPANY TO INVEST 4 MILLION EURO TO SET PARKING LOTS IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN. - City council of Yerevan held snap session on Monday and
decided to change the city budget by adding incomes and redistributing
expenses. As a result, other buildings will be included in improvement
projects.
Money will be directed to reconstruction and improvement works of
gully sewer, press service of city hall informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Two double-deck buses will be purchased for organizing tours for
city sightseeing.
Yerevan city hall and Latvian "City parking service systems" signed
long-term cooperation agreement. It aims to install modern, safe and
affordable traffic management and security system. Latvian side will
invest ~@4 million. The city hall has another contract concluded
with Swarko. These two contracts will provide competitive field,
which will impact on increasing the level of service and price policy.
The city council also confirmed the memorandum between Yerevan and
Beijing.
Three members of oppositional Heritage parliamentary group were
present at the session.
