Sydney. - Armenian National Committee in Australia (ANC-Australia)
calls Armenians in Australia to state their nationality in the upcoming
Census-2011 on Tuesday in Australia, Australian publication Armenia
reports. The committee calls Armenians to state the Armenian language
in the column of "the language used at home" and Armenian Apostolic
Church in the column of "religion."
"This is a must for ethnic and cultural identification of Armenians,
who are spread in many countries of the world," the publication writes.
"Information will help the Australian government to know what measures
to take accounting the demands of the Armenian community in Australia,"
executive director of ANC-Australia Varand Mgrdchyan told.
