ARMENIA'S CREW VISITS HOLY SEE OF CILICIA

The crew of the sailboat called Armenia, guided by publicist and
Karabakhi hero Zori Balayan, has been received at a settlement called
Anjar in Lebanon.
According to a press release by Armenia's Foreign Ministry, the crew
was accompanied by Ashot Kocharyan, Armenia's Ambassador to Armenia,
and the staff of the embassy.
After the solemn ceremony of reception Zori Balayan and the sailboat's
Captain Samvel Karapetyan placed a wreath at the monument dedicated
to the heroic fighting of the Musa Dagh.
Further, Armenia's crew met the residents of Aynchar where Zori Balayan
and Ambassador Ashot Kocharyan delievered speeches among other people,
while Samvel Karapetyan elaborated on the voyage Armenia did round
the globe.
Zori Balayan and Armenia's crew were later received by His Holiness
Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia. After Aram I's welcoming
speech, Zori Balayan elaborated on their voyage round the Earth.
Later, Armenia's captain Samvel Karapetyan handed to His Holiness
Aram I the flag of the Holy See of Cilicia that had been buoying on
Armenia throughout its voyage.
On the same day they convened a press conference in Armenia's Embassy
in Beirut, attended by the local Armenian community, national agencies
and leaders of non-governmental organizations.
