ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR TO LEBANON MEETS WITH LEBANESE PRESIDENT

Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharyan held a meeting Aug. 9
with President of Lebanon Michel Suleiman.
The Armenian foreign office reports that the sides discussed the
development of bilateral relations, domestic political situation in
Lebanon and regional developments.
The sides stressed close bilateral cooperation within international
agencies. The sides also discussed a number of details of the Lebanese
leader's visit to Armenia scheduled for next year.
President Michel Suleiman made a high appraisal of the Armenian
community in Lebanon's political and social life. Responding to the
Lebanese leader's request, the Armenian ambassador briefed him on
the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and other issues.
