GAS APPLICATION ISSUE OF MEGHRI AND AGARAK TO BE SOLVED THROUGH ARMENIAN-IRANIAN MEMORANDUM

YEREVAN
A memorandum of mutual comprehension on providing development support
to Armenia by THE Islamic Republic of Iran will be signed between
Armenia and Iran.
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan noted at today's
governmental session that the grant extended within the framework of
development support is expected to use for implementation of a program
on construction of gas delivery system for Armenian settlements
bordering Iran. According to the Minister, the signing of the
memorandum of mutual comprehension will give an opportunity to solve
gas application issue of Meghri and Agarak towns, Syuniq province.
