PanARMENIAN.Net - Fresno-based KVPT (Channel 18.1) will air Screamers,
Carla Garapedian's film that features the band System of a Down,
at 8:30 p.m. Friday, August 12, as part of a series of programs that
look at the culture, music and history of the local Armenian community.
The documentary uses concert footage of the hard-rock band System of
a Down as a stepping stone to discuss acts of genocide, particularly
the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
Fresno's Jeff Atmajian scored the music for other parts of the movie.
Garapedian will be in the studio with Leslie Davis and Sergio Laporta
as the hosts for the evening, Fresno Bee reported.
