POLISH SECURITY PRINTING WORKS TO PRINT BIOMETRIC PASSPORTS AND ID CARDS FOR ARMENIA

Polish Security Printing Works has signed a contract to supply and
distribute e-IDs and biometric passports in the Republic of Armenia,
as reported Third Factor, a popular Internet portal focused on
biometric technologies.
"First announced in November 2010, the project calls for some 300,000
blank biometric passports and a million e-IDs to be delivered to
Armenia over the next five years," Third Factor reports. "As part of
the contract, the company will also supply the software as well as
the necessary equipment to operate the new technology."
After delivery, the central personalization of the documents will
take place in Yerevan.
Polish Security Printing Works says it has also supplied biometric
passport systems for Lithuania and Bangladesh.
Polish Security Printing Works is considered one of the most modern
and advanced companies in the European security printing industry.
